Bryan Goerger, Co-founder, Jane Stoller, Head of Global Educational Technology and Gregory Hein, Co-founderTo improve productivity in this space, FideliumTech offers a crossover gaming platform, SimCraft, which connects gameplay with “real-world” utility. Instead of using complicated design software, people can use a game-like interface to design and estimate their Project.
Gaming is the way to connect with everyone irrespective of age as it is always better to fail in a virtual environment than in a real-world environment, and we leverage that aspect to interactively teach individuals
Once the virtual design is complete, SimCraft provides the player with a digital model, project estimate, specifications, scope of work, and contracts which can be used to build or remodel a project in actuality. For the first time, a novice can quickly and easily design and bid their projects using an interactive UI design providing a more intuitive and fun experience. Players can also earn money by developing content for the virtual environment, or compete against other players in design competitions.
Lastly, the platform allows players to enjoy the game while learning through simulation. Players can alter designs and compare prices of a variety of building materials and construction systems. Players also learn important skills such as home design, building codes, estimating, value engineering, marketing and sales which they can employ in real life situations after mastering the skills in the simulated world.
In the future, the company aims to build more partnerships and utilize blockchain and smart contracts through its platform to seamlessly manage project communication, payment, and trust through electronic wallets. “The idea was to get an average person thinking and talking about construction. Gaming is a way to connect with everyone, irrespective of age, as it is always better to fail in a virtual environment than in the real-world, and we leverage that aspect to interactively teach individuals about design and construction ,” asserts Gregory Hein, the co-founder of FideliumTech.
